late nights

Clients do more than sign contracts and make payments. Most of mine give me their trust with their ideas, inspirations and in some cases their livelihood.

So, I work all the time, sleep when I can and play with my youngest not often enough, to meet deadlines and expectations. Oh, and pay some bills here and there.

Who said self employment was the best? It is almost all sales, and then good solid work on tight timelines when you should be sleeping.

The hardest part I have found is managing customer expectations. Once you open up the theory of flight and show them blue sky they are not easily reeled back in to reality or the specifications in the original project agreement!

More after midnight babble on another night when I am needing a break from work. . .
